These recreations of classic ‘80s movie posters, done in the style of stained glass by Italian artists Van Orton Design, are really nifty. I’d love to see all of them rendered in actual stained glass.
From My Modern Met:
The artists achieved incredible details by first illustrating the scenes with a number of thin and thick black lines. They then used vibrant rainbows to fill in the fragmented slivers. Every once in a while, the variations of light and dark color produce the sensation that sunlight could possibly be shining through real glass.
